Quality and Practice Lead

  • Full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract (with opportunities to extend/additional career pathways)
  • Office based in Sydney CBD, with Hybrid Working Arrangements / WFH & Office
  • Offering Competitive Remuneration; SCHADS 7.1 ($110,912 base) + Super + NFP salary packaging

Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with Legacy Club Services, a reputable not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing support and resources to older people, people with disabilities, children, and family members of veterans. With a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of veterans and their families, Legacy Club Services have been delivering outstanding community support programs and services for nearly 100 years.
The Quality and Practice Lead works closely alongside the Beneficiary Program team and is responsible for leading the Quality and Practice service delivery of beneficiary programs provided to target populations.
In this role you will:
  • Provide guidance and support to leadership and frontline practitioners on organisational policies, procedures, and expectations for service delivery.
  • Share knowledge and expertise in community services, including best practices, evidence-based interventions, and strategies for working with beneficiaries.
  • Identify strengths, areas for improvement, and development needs of practitioners.
  • Facilitate monthly peer learning and support opportunities to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among practitioners.
  • Positively challenge processes to bring about efficiencies and improve the quality of services provided.
  • Conduct regular reviews of services provided and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and Practice guidelines comply with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement projects to enhance beneficiary outcomes and services offered.
Essential Criteria:
To succeed in the role, you will be an experienced Quality and Practice professional with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to upholding service delivery standards and driving the improvement of services across the business. You will also have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Allied Health, Psychology, Sociology, or social services.
  • Strong experience leading and/or coaching community service practitioners.
  • Strong understanding of the community services and welfare sector and how to align organisational policies and Practice frameworks with sector changes and developments
  • Knowledge of quality management and service evaluation principles and Practices, along with a high-level understanding of performance management and how to effectively implement changes to policies and frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a proven ability to engage in building relationships.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively with team members and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working with volunteers and members-based organisations is highly regarded.
