The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that the products manufactured meet the company's objective for purity, quality, safety and security.
The position is permanent, based on a 38-hour work week.
The focus of this position is managing work efficiently and competently to achieve goals consistently.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Validation: Contribute to and prepare system and equipment URS, IQ/OP/PQ. Prepare protocols for execution. Conduct process, equipment, facility, and computerised systems qualification activities. Review of protocols deviations.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits according to schedules in line with PIC/s GMP for medicinal products.
- Quality System: Implementation of changes and corrective and preventative actions. Participating in risk assessments and investigation of non-conformances. Monitoring of the GMP suite.
- Assisting with different tasks to support overall company needs
Qualifications & Experience / Skills
- Tertiary education in science / engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in production focused Quality Assurance role
- Experience in qualification and validation activity planning and execution
- Ability to achieve goals consistently and efficiently
- Ability to work both autonomously and in team environments
- High level of attention to detail, dependable, professional, and has good time management skills
Medcan Australia requires a current National Police Check (completed within one month of commencement) and a medical fitness statement to be supplied prior to employment. Additional assessments need to be completed as part of the application.
