Form of workOur client is an Australian dairy manufacturer based in Sydney’s Western Suburbs who export their products globally. They are seeking an established Quality Manager to join their team and lead the site in all matter’s quality related. This position will have two direct reports: Laboratory Manager and Documentation Specialist. It is essential to have experience working as a Quality Manager within the food/beverage industry.
Duties:
- Provide leadership across the site for all matters relating to quality
- Leading internal, external and customer audits and manage corrective actions
- Track and report on KPI’s on both a national and international level
- Manage GMP across the site and coordinate improvement plans with contractors
- Responsible for ensuring food safety for all production trials
- Conduct customer complaint investigations
- Attend senior leadership meetings
Skills/experience:
- Multiple years experience as an established Quality Manager in the food/beverage industry
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related discipline
- Experience working with filling/bottling lines highly desirable
- Experience in FSANZ, HACCP, BRC, GMP
- Excellent leadership and communication skills essential
- Strong attention to detail and technical skills
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Leadership role that can drive continuous improvement within the business
