Brunel is partnering with a global, tier 1 EPC contractor to help build the project team on an iconic Renewable Energy project just outside of Melbourne. This role is key to the commercial controls team on-site and works closley with the project manager to ensure compliance with procurement and controls focussed on the electrical component of the project.
The project is one of the largest of it's type in Australia and will help firm the Victorian electrical grid for years to come.
As the Quality Manager on site you will be responsible for developing and implementing the project quality management plan in line with ISO 9001 and the internal quality processes and procedures for the contractural project delivery. Work closely with the client, subcontractors and suplier for the project to ensure quality standards are being met and non conformance matters are dealt with professionally.
Be assissted by the quality advisor with regular audits and project control systems mangement and document control to ensure project deadlines are being met in line with the QMP and clients satisfaction.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent quality management certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Expertise in developing and implementing project quality management systems, processes, and controls.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex quality issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building high-performance teams.
- Proficient in project management software, quality assurance tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and promote a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
- Work with a tier 1, global EPC on exciting renewables projects.
