You will also have the chance to assist in our digital transformation project over the next 18 months.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our Melbourne or Sydney office as a Quality, Risk, and Compliance Senior Associate in our Compliance team. This is a national role with a focus on Melbourne growth.
What will you be doing?
- Facilitate compliant business operations including broking, IT systems, client services and risk management.
- Work with our associates to review existing work processes and implement changes including training, to add value to our clients.
- Assist senior management to maintain broking standards for quality and Compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate internal audit and complete Quality Assurance File Assessments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Self-starter with a willingness to adapt to change and able to accept responsibility
- Ability to drive change and problem-solve when needed.
- Relationship building skills to liaise with teams, and senior management.
- Willingness to keep up to date with industry standards and knowledge to ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards
- Drive, passion and a desire to make a difference
- To be able to think creatively and challenge the status quo
You will need the following experience and qualifications:
- Tier 2 Insurance Broking Certificate and/or Tier 1 Insurance Broking Certificate
- At least 5 years of insurance broking experience including knowledge of the insurance market and products
- Knowledge of broking systems such as WinBEAT/OrganiseIT or similar
- Experience in MS Office Suite
