Crystal Eye & Laser is a world-class Ophthalmology practice that provides a range of ophthalmological services. Our small, friendly team work hard to deliver the highest quality of care for our patients, which is not only shown by the fantastic outcomes but also through the excellent feedback we receive. There are two practice locations, Booragoon and Craigie, both equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. The Craigie practice also has the most up to date equipment for laser eye surgery, having been upgraded and installed within the last year. We pride ourselves on being up to date with the latest innovations and equipment, which means we provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. 

Qualifications & experience

• High proficiency with administrative and reception skills in a specialist practice context
• Exceptional customer service skills with previous customer service experience is an advantage
• Patient administration systems i.e. Genie
• Excellent communication skills including a professional telephone manner
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise
• Proficient use of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Neat and professional presentation

The role

The vacancy is for a part time position working 3 days per week rotating cycle as per the clinic needs. Travel between our Booragoon and Craigie clinics is essential. The ideal candidate must have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Greeting patients with a kind, friendly and professional manner
• Collecting and entering patient details into the database
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Providing patients with after care information
• Patient payments and health fund billings
• Administration support and other adhoc duties
