Salary Range of $51k to $59k Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit.
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our visitors and clients.
Our successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the front desk activities, answering and directing phone calls, receiving and assisting visitors, ordering stationery, organising meetings and performing general administrative tasks to support the operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Handling incoming calls and taking messages
- Greeting and signing in visitors
- Maintaining and organising meeting rooms (including general cleaning and upkeep)
- Organising and presenting catering for various meetings
- Kitchen cleaning duties and general maintenance of common areas
- Organising taxi’s by request
- Organising couriers by request
- Responsible for maintaining a neat, organised and presentable reception area
- Internal and external mail duties
- Archiving and documentation duties
- Organising maintenance for general building issues
- Day to day maintenance of office equipment such as phones, printers etc
- Stationery ordering
- Distributing access and ID cards for staff
- Coordinating and organising all requirements such as catering, room services by request
- Maintain and update databases as required
- Organising birthday cakes, gift vouchers and other special occasions as required
- Finance administration such as purchase orders and credit card purchases
- Assist the office administration with all general administrative functions
- Other office management tasks as required
Our Successful Candidate
- Experience in managing a busy reception area
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
- The ability to learn quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
We are looking for someone who is available to work in the office 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
