The Office of Sport is seeking two experienced and customer-focused Recruitment Support Officers to join our team on a temporary basis for up to two years, initially. We have one temporary full-time role and one temporary part-time 28 hours per week (four days per week) role.
Flexible work arrangements
Based at Sydney Olympic Park, offering flexible working arrangements. Work can be undertaken from one of the Office of Sport’s centres, venues or regional office locations.
We offer a competitive salary to the right candidates with a total remuneration package ranging from $79,032 up to $86,539 per annum (full time equivalent) plus 11% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

About the role
This opportunity is for an exciting and diverse Recruitment Support Officer which provides support to our Centres, Venues and Regions through our centralised casual recruitment model. The Recruitment Support Officer carries out various support services to assist in meeting the operational requirements of People and Culture Workforce Management team. In this role you will be required to:
- Co-ordinate and oversee the casual recruitment process across the centres and venues and work with subject matter experts in designing and delivering casual recruitment.
- Undertake workforce planning in consultation with the centres and venues for all casual recruitment needs.
- Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
- Support casual recruitment interview panels and participate on interview panels where required.
- Collect and compile information for and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform recruitment decision making.
- Organise probity checks and onboard employees with shared services.
- Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures.
- Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.

You will have the ability to support the administration of effective recruitment activities in an environment with a high volume and variety of tasks, competing priorities and tight deadlines. You can deal effectively and professionally with business clients and industry stakeholders whilst managing their expectations and balancing competing priorities. You foster a positive customer experience, and you are technology savvy.
