Our client is searching for an experienced leader from within the new home building industry to join a progressive residential building company known for its branding, geographic coverage, and financial strength – the key role being Regional Building Manager for the broader Shepparton Region in Victoria.
The successful incumbent needs to reside within the Shepparton area, to be seen as part of the regional community.
This is an excellent career opportunity for an individual with innate leadership qualities and hands-on construction knowledge taking full ownership of a new home building business from sales through to customer service to construction and settlement.
Reporting to the Director, the key responsibilities are:
- Budgeting, forecasting, and performance management of the Region.
- Sales leadership, developer relations and display village program.
- Efficient processing of client jobs from sales-`accept through to site start
- Margin management at sales, contract signing and construction
- Construction excellence to deliver targeted quality and revenue.
- Standout customer experience from initial lead through to contract signing, construction and warranty period.
- Ensure OHS is always the highest priority across all areas of the business
- Maintains excellent brand values within the local community
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in construction and or operational management from within the residential volume building industry.
- Completed relevant TAFE course or tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
- Advanced analytical and investigative skills.
- Computer and programs literate.
- Must reside within the Region and be actively involved within the local community.
