Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at the Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The Accounts Officer will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions of the company.
- Efficiently allocate deposits to COD transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accurate records.
- Execute banking transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
- Perform routine weekly/monthly financial tasks.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Utilise BAS Excel reconciliation models for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Support auditing procedures and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Degree or tertiary education in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
