About this role The Regional Dental Officer provides a high level of contribution to the strategic management of public dental services within the State. Ensures the effective implementation and management of the major dental programmes within a Region. This role reports to the Manager Community Dental Services - Dental Health Services. What we are looking for We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced candidate to the position of Regional Dental Officer (North). In this Role you will provide a high level of contribution to the strategic management and public dental services within the State. You will also ensure the effective implementation and management of the major dental programmes in the region including the School Dental Service, Adult Dental Service and the region’s outreach programmes. Consultation and interaction with partner organisations providing additional dental services to the region will also be required. The ideal applicant will control and manage the human, financial and physical resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of dental services to the aforementioned dental service programmes and provide dental care to enrolled and eligible patients when required.
