Salvation Army Housing offers a mix of crisis, transitional and long-term housing accommodation to persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across Australia. The team works with the most vulnerable in our communities, who may come with complex and multiple needs. ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Regional Manager Housing ACT/NSW. We are seeking candidates either from Sydney or Canberra. We are not only seeking someone who naturally aligns with our culture but is also connected to contributing to improved outcomes for our tenants.
Opportunity to monitor, strengthen and build Housing functions across NSW and ACT Permanent Full-time position - (38hrs/week) Competitive salary under the Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Industry Award and additional benefits, including salary packaging Key responsibilities: Lead a team of Housing Workers delivering tenancy and property management services Ensure Community Housing KPI’s are achieved, and funding body requirements are met Identify potential improvements to current service delivery and make recommendations to manager for further approvals Coordinate compliance, essential service and annual asset management program for your region supported by National Property Infrastructure team Responsible for oversight and management of tenancy and property management database including data integrity, trades compliance to improve service delivery ABOUT YOU The role will ideally suit someone with industry experience in Social housing or Community Housing and who is passionate about delivering a quality tenant-focused service. You will need to demonstrate that you have the capacity to engage with a wide cross section of individuals and an ability to prioritise workloads.
Key capabilities: Tertiary qualification in Property, Business Administration or Community Services are desirable Prior experience in a similar role managing staff who oversee a diverse property portfolio Sound knowledge of housing development within the social housing and community welfare sector Strong knowledge of Residential Tenancies legislation and Community Housing policies in ACT/NSW WHY WORK FOR US?
