Our client is one of the fastest growing companies nationally. They manufacture and distribute an extensive range of oil and lubricant products through a national network. The company works closely with key industry segments including retail, transport, agriculture, engineering, automotive, commercial and industrial.
We are seeking an experienced field based Senior Business Development Manager to help the organisation capitalise on a new sales strategy. They are already operating nationally and believe that with the right addition to the team, they will capitalise on the opportunity to expand the Company’s distribution network throughout regional NSW and southern QLD.
The role provides a high level of flexibility and autonomy with the opportunity to grow the business substantially. This will require you to:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for regional markets, specifically targeting new distributors and business customers.
- Develop strong relationships with end user customers to understand their business and be able to work with them and distributors to provide a full service offering across the product range.
- Provide ongoing support to existing distributors by fostering strong relationships, resolving issues, and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments including marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting with relevant State Managers.
Ideally, you will have:
- Proven sales experience within regional markets in agriculture, fertilisers, chemicals, oil and lubricants or agricultural equipment.
- An existing network of clients would be considered highly advantageous.
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously in a home office environment, with frequent travel for clients and sales prospects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
