About the Role?
As a Regional Medical Receptionist, you will work across our IUIH and Member Services clinics, you will play an important role in our service delivery. Within this role you will connect with Mob through providing quality customer service, effective and efficient administrative support and you will play an integral role in our overall patient engagement and attendance. We have multiple administration roles available. Suitable candidates applying for the Medical Receptionist role may also be considered for other administration roles.
Available positions are Fulltime (Monday – Friday, 38 hours per week), part-time and casual.
This role requires travel to all of IUIH member services
- Work in ways which are ethically, culturally and respectfully propa; fostering integrity in our conduct and actions by matching our ways with the values of IUIH and The Ways Statement.
- Uphold client confidentiality, ensuring their right to privacy with information only being shared where consents are provided.
- Adhere to practices to achieve high booking and attendance rates, including checking time requirements for each appointment, coordinating daily lists, ringing patients to confirm attendance, managing changes and follow up appointments, monitoring and managing patient flow /wait times within the day.
- Prepare for daily appointments by providing the client files and relevant materials available to clinic health professionals and visiting health professionals.
- Be able to travel between IUIH and Member services clinics spread across the Morton Bay, Logan, Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley and Gold Coast regions.
About You?
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check or willing to obtain
- Current Working with Children Card – Blue Card (Prior to commencement)
- Must have own vehicle (allowance paid), use of company vehicle may be available for full time employees
- Previous experience in an administrative role is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously within a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
- Proactive and flexible approach to work, with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Punctuality and excellent attendance record

- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
