Qualifications & experience
- Experienced as a Medical Receptionist, preferably in a specialist setting
- Computer and typing skills, especially with medical programs such as Genie, Eclipse and Xero
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Time management skills

Tasks & responsibilities
- Meet and greet patients, checking in patients, completing patient information
- Booking patient appointments, organising diaries for our specialist surgeons, ensuring optimal allocation of appointments
- Patient billings and invoicing
- Phone calls and enquiries, including basic clinical enquiries
- Completing patient details and following up patient results
- Surgical bookings, communicating with hospitals, patients and medical supply companies to ensure that operating lists are appropriately booked, and the necessary equipment and paperwork is available
- Stocking and ordering medical supplies
- Cleaning and sterilising medical instruments
- Coordinating junior members of the team
