Structure Building Management prides itself in managing all buildings and its facilities in a proactive and methodical manner. Each building under management presents unique challenges and opportunities for which a tailored plan and maintenance regime should be established and constantly updated. In addition to this, continual staff training and professional development will ensure our building manager's are well equipped to manage buildings and work with key stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes are met.
About the role:
- Assist with induction and training of new recruits and uphold WHS policy.
- Assist in recruitment of new staff when required
- Training of new staff for all sites and ongoing training of building manager's to ensure the highest standards and "Structure Culture" is upheld and maintained. This will include continually working on improving the training program and organising external Staff Training programs.
- Assist in the creation and enforcement of SOP's.
- Constant assessments of work practices and procedures (e.g. Operations Manual,
- Maintenance Schedules, Reports etc) are made, and recommendations made to management. Any and all positive changes to be implemented alongside management. Implementation of overall proactive and preventative maintenance strategies and follow up with Building Managers.
- Responsible for overseeing defect rectification process in conjunction with Building Managers and stakeholders
- First response to critical reactive maintenance/repair issues
- Attend all EGM/AGM and if needed depending on necessity, SCM.
- Work with all contractors, in particular cleaners and landscapers to ensure properties are kept to a high standard
- Offer support and assistance with major incidents which occur, such as fire and flooding.
- Assist with major tenders.
- Provide support to After-Hours Manager as required.
- Being rostered on to as a Afterhours Manager
About You:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a regional or multi-site environment
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues
