Regional Sales Manager

Committed to global sustainability, continuous improvement and the ongoing evolution of the Kia brand, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Regional Sales Manager based in our Southern Regional office.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, in this role your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own Area of Responsibility (zone).
• Leading the sales team to achieve wholesale and retail sales targets as defined in the business plan.
• Manage dealer vehicle forward ordering to ensure optimum supply line availability. 
• Identifying wholesale and retail (including Fleet) sales opportunities for the Kia product range.
• Build positive relationships with the Dealer Network, both Metro and Rural regions to ensure Dealers actively participate and promote Kia Australia sales programs and sales staff are trained in accordance with company guidelines.
• Manage qualitative aspects of the dealer relationship including CX and brand guidelines.
• Communication Reporting to management on forecast sales and wholesale expectations on a weekly basis.
• Provide input into the marketing plan provided by the Area Sales Manager and Dealership.

The person we are looking for will have:

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience (preferably within the Automotive or Fleet Management industries; in a wholesale or retail environment)
• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with all levels of management and customers.
• Strong computer literacy (excel), exposure to SAP highly regarded.
• a positive attitude, with the ability to build relationships and liaise with all levels of management, Dealers and third parties.
