REGISTERED NURSE POSITION PART TIME OR CASUAL (NEGOTIABLE)

Our accredited practice has 3 GP’s but never more than two working at the same time, this allows our nurse to be always focused and present for our patients and to help our doctors run efficiently and on time. Something we pride ourselves on.

Key Responsibilities
- Recalls and reminders.
- Manage Cold Chain procedures meticulously.
- Oversee patient preparation and monitor during iron infusions.
- Uphold infection control standards.
- Perform Health Assessments and Care Plans.
- Assist GPs with minor procedures.
- Wound management.
- Stock, ordering/management ensuring rooms are well stocked.
- Vaccine and other immunisation administration, ordering and management.
- Spirometry, ECG, ear syringing, medicals and vaccinations.
- Drive quality improvement programs promoting preventative healthcare. and screening to help with better patient outcomes!
- Cleanliness of treatment room and doctors’ rooms.
- Basic reception work includes covering reception at breaks.
Essential criteria
- RN Qualification with a minimum of 12 months working in a general practice.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Immunisation Certificate.
- Experience in CDM.
- Proficiency with IT systems and their use.
- CPR Certificate.
- Familiar with Best Practice.
- Excellent time management & organizational skills.
