The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service are seeking applications from Cancer Care nurses who are passionate and dedicated, and have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. This role predominantly provides care to patient receiving infusion cancer treatments and supportive therapies in the day therapy unit and is required to also rotate through other designated roles within the service. 

The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) Cancer Care Service (CCS) is the leading provider of integrated evidence-based care for persons affected by cancer and blood disorders within the Sunshine Coast Community.  CCS operates as a ‘hub and spoke' model, with services centrally coordinated from Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).  CCS provides haematology, medical oncology and radiation oncology services. 

Your application will be managed by the Centralised Nursing Recruitment team who attract nurses for vacancies across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. If successful, your details will remain current with the SCHHS Nursing Talent Pipeline for a period of up to 3 months, where you will be contacted as suitable employment opportunities arise, matching your skills, preferred work location/availability.

Salary rates: $3079.50 - $3950 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $40.51 - $51.97 p.h. (p/t) (Nurse Grade 5) (full time and part time positions, hours negotiable). Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).

This role may be eligible for the Queensland Workforce Attraction and Incentive Scheme.
