The role of the HITH RN is to provide best practice nursing care to Benalla Health consumers withIn Their homes or other suitable environment.
Primary clinical duties may include: wound management; medication monitoring, administration and education; diabetes education and management; stomal and catheter care; general health monitoring and education; health assessments, service advice and referral; hygiene assistance and assessment; advanced care planning; palliative care and acute admitted home based care (HITH).
The role is a part time contract role over a 10-month period (0.2 EFT).
