About Us
Maruma-li Drug Treatment Unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment, monitoring, treatment, and supportive care for individuals undergoing alcohol and drug withdrawal in an inpatient setting. As part of the Central Coast Health LHD Drug & Alcohol Service, we work collaboratively with other healthcare and non-health service providers, to ensure holistic care for our patients. We prioritize ongoing supervision, education, and training in the drug and alcohol field for all our staff members, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in alcohol and drug withdrawal management or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster comprising twelve-hour shifts.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
