You will ensure the direct care needs of residents are met, through overseeing and evaluating care plans and individualized nursing needs of the residents. Supervision and direction of other Registered Nurses, care, and domestic staff.
About the role
- Provision of consistently high-quality care to residents.
- Supporting the independence of residents by providing appropriate assistance with personal care in accordance with care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation notes, assessments and care plans
- Compliance with all legislation
- Coach, develop and supervise other staff
- A Bachelor of Nursing Qualification
- A current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
- Demonstrated high level of analytical, written and verbal skills
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willing to obtain one
- Min 6-12 months work experience (in aged care is highly regarded)
- Ability and commitment to working as part of the team
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to supervise and direct staff in providing care Ø Understanding of the accreditation standards
