Registered Nurse (Rn) - Bendigo

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse, seeking an opportunity to be a part of our mission to help older Victorians live their best lives? 

We’re looking for Nurses across various shifts in our Bendigo homes, with base rates from $34 per hour depending on experience and shift (eg AM, PM or Night). 

We have two residential aged are homes in Bendigo – Kangaroo Flat (50 beds) and Eaglehawk (67 beds). Our residential aged care homes provide a comforting and warm space filled with libraries, dining area, activity spaces, hairdressers, bedrooms and private bathroom for our residents.

Full time and part time shifts are available, and open to casual applications as well. 

As a Nurse in a residential home, a typical day will see you:

• Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications
• Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
• Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required
• Providing employees with clear direction and guidance

To join our excellent teams, we’re looking for more motivated Nurse’s with:

• A current AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse qualification
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
• An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
• A high level of accountability for your own work
• A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour

To work in Residential Aged Care, you will need  an NDIS clearance and appropriate vaccinations (3x COVID & current flu).
