The successful candidate will have worked at a Broker, Financial Planner or Fund Manager for 1 - 2 years.
What will my day to day look like?
You will be responsible for a few family offices as well as stockbrokers and institutional advisers.
You will be responsible for:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stockbrokers, advisers and family offices
- Driving the operational performance of the business
- Resolving client inbound queries and be the main point of contact for them
- Prioritising adviser requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Informing client/s of any issues
- Recommending a solution and timeframe to clients
- Dealing with escalations
- Reviewing open tasks to ensure proper follow-up
- Contribute to process improvement initiative
- Connect with customers and build strong rapport via phone and
email. - Understanding and identifying customers’ issues.
- Using strong problem-solving skills to deliver solutions
- Educating clients and peers in the mechanics of products
- Establishing and maintain relationships with other internal stakeholders and departments
- identify opportunities for cross selling and up selling
- 1 - 2 years' experience working at a Broker, Financial Planner or Fund Manager within a Customer Service or Client Services role
- Experience using Praemium, IRESS, WRAP or other investment platforms (highly regarded)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, high pressured environment
- Great problem-solving abilities
- Strong team-player
- Time Management and organisation skills
- Tertiary related qualifications (desirable)
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
