Your New Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hotel operations professional to apply their skills while immersing themselves into the commercial responsibilities of Hotel Management. As a key player amongst our Victorian Hotel Management team, you'll work on making small efficiencies and improvements to the hotels you work at, and ensure things run smoothly in the absence of the Hotel Manager. In any downtime, you'll assist in the rollout of operational projects across the Melbourne portfolio.
You'll be adaptable, excellent at building lasting-relationships, have a strong sense of ownership, and quick at making decisions.

Surrounded by a passionate and supportive shared-services structure and operations team, you'll bring creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and a hands-on approach to drive the success of your business.
Your responsibilities will require you to:
- Optimise business turnover and delivery of business operating profit
- Execute and drive business development and growth opportunities
- Establish a high-performance team aligned to our core values of Relationship Focused, Integrity, Personal Growth & Ownership Mindset
- Manage daily hotel operations in line with our Veri-Best Framework, and make improvements to seek optimal compliance with our SOPs/Guides
- Optimise guest satisfaction and management
- Drive business compliance and critical incident management
- Facility and asset management
- Management administration and reporting

About You
We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are flexible, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.
The successful person must have:
- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
- Ability to travel and work at hotels across your allocated cluster/area
- Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems complaints
- Demonstrated ability to identify gaps and the current state, and implement change in a short timeframe
- High standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience managing people in a customer service environment
- Passion for personal growth
