Quest Collingwood is a new hotel, opened in March 2023 in the heart of Collingwood. Just moments away from Melbourne CBD and the MCG, the hotel is easily accessible by public transport. Quest Collingwood provides accommodation to both corporate & leisure markets and with its Studio, One, Two & Three Bedroom Apartments is ideally suited to meet all room type requirements.
Quest Collingwood is now recruiting for Full Time Business Development Managerto join it's growing team.
The Role
Responsible for generating and increasing sales revenue for Quest Collingwood by developing a portfolio of key accounts at the local area level, including representing the Quest Brand with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
As Business Development Manager you will be able to research and understand market trends at a local and national level to identify business opportunities, while working with key stakeholders to convert this business. You will be able to understand and adapt your unique selling strategy to convert leads and opportunities to drive revenue.
Working with the Quest Revenue Team, you will be able to curate marketing strategies to compliment your sales activities and drive occupancy during need periods for the property.
You will have strong stakeholder management working closely with Quest National Accounts team and Hotel Reception to identify potential leads and opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
Will be able to work autonomously while still maintaining a collaborative approach with key stakeholders.
A passion for selling and promoting accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience in a previous sales role, a keen eye for detail, high standards of personal presentation, and a highly team orientated ethos. Have confidence to action situations as per policy and procedure on an independent basis.
Previous experience in a Sales or Business Development role is essential. hotel or accommodation experience is beneficial but not essential.
The successful applicant must be available to work Monday to Friday and have entitlements to work in Australia. A flexible work schedule can be discussed.
