We're seeking a self-starter who is motivated to forge out a great career with us as a Research and Development Scientist - Protective Coatings who is passionate about creating market-leading products that make a positive impact on consumers' lives. Responsibilities

• Contribute to development projects involving research, technology review, and testing for potential product commercialization and improvements
• Apply scientific and formulation expertise to devise creative solutions
• Design and personally execute experiments, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations
• Engage closely with cross-functional teams, including other functional team members, marketing, safety, supply chain, and others

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related materials sciences field
• Formulation experience is advantageous
• Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills with an ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Strong communication, influencing, and networking skills
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and SPC
