We're seeking a self-starter who is motivated to forge out a great career with us as a Research and Development Scientist - Protective Coatings who is passionate about creating market-leading products that make a positive impact on consumers' lives. You'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver innovation in ANZ and enjoy the benefits of working closely with all parts of the business. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development projects involving research, technology review, and testing for potential product commercialization and improvements
  • Apply scientific and formulation expertise to devise creative solutions
  • Design and personally execute experiments, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations
  • Engage closely with cross-functional teams, including other functional team members, marketing, safety, supply chain, and others

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related materials sciences field
  • Formulation experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills with an ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication, influencing, and networking skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and SPC
