About the Role
The Research Assistant (RA) will assist the Principal Investigators with ongoing, externally funded research projects on Return to Sport after injury. The RA will assist with participant recruitment, data collection, data organisation and data management. The position reports to the Principal Investigator, Professor Franco M. Impellizzeri.
The position is located within the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation based at the Moore Park Campus, however there will be opportunity for the successful candidate to work remotely on occasion.
In this role, you will:
• Prepare data collection documents such as informed consent forms and other documents as needed
• Data entry, organisation, management
• Perform literature searches and reviewing literature if needed
• Prepare regular progress reports for the research team and funding agencies
• Prepare regular meetings with the research steering committees
• Perform other related duties as required
As the ideal candidate, you will possess:
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and community partners
• An understanding of University policy and procedures or the proven ability learn quickly
• Experience in collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Completion of a relevant university degree in a relevant discipline
• Some experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods is desired
Remuneration
Salary Range: $91,254 to $98,805 pa (HEW 6) (pro-rata)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part-time (0.7 FTE/3.5 days per week) and the appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 2 years.
