Hays are partnering with a boutique Canberra construction company, created by two highly regarded and well-established construction professionals. Making their mark with a strong pipeline of work across the residential space, specialising in townhouse developments. They are presenting an amazing opportunity for Foreman and Site Managers to join their close knit team.
Your new role
With residential townhouse projects about to take off, they are looking for an experienced Site Manger to look after multiple projects. The below responsibilities will fall within your daily duties:
- Supervise and coordinate contractors on site;
- Work collaboratively with your project team;
- Manage and deliver program on time;
- Ensure all WHS requirements are being upheld;
- Undertake trade work as necessary;
- Organise the procurement and delivery of materials; and
- Communication with all relevant stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To see you succeed in this role the below skills will be highly regarded;
- Ideally you will be a high performing tradesperson
- Strong leadership/management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to get the most out of your trades
- Ability to problem solve & interpret detailed drawings
- A positive attitude and passion for delivering high quality construction projects
