The Role & The Team
As the Project Resource Officer, you will work with the Resource Management Team Leader and broader team to provide support for the resource management function in Project Delivery. This role will contribute to activities to establish the resource management function for all projects and programs within Project Delivery and influence the enterprise resource supply approach.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of various resourcing and contract documentation.
- Tracking of various resourcing activities for Project Delivery staff.
- Tracking and maintaining panel providers and labour hire contracts.
- Supporting & engaging with the business on the ongoing timesheet requirements, including compliance monitoring.
- Maintaining alignment of resource library and supporting systems
- Building and maintaining effective working relationship with Project Delivery, workforce planning and other Human Resources staff across Airservices.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure open and effective communication Compliance, Systems and Reporting.
- Adhering to enterprise governance systems and policies, including finance, safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance.

The Person
The successful applicant will have:
• A minimum of three years demonstrated experience in a resourcing function in a complex project or portfolio environment.
• Practical experience in SAP Ariba, including establishing contractor workspaces, managing contracts, drafting work orders, managing invoicing, and tracking expenditure to ensure compliance.
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of various resourcing strategies and industry standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of project resourcing models, both centralised and matrixed, and ability to support resource forecast sourcing and utilisation report to meet various project needs.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• An understanding of human resource and recruitment practices, across both government and private industry.
