As our in-venue Events Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring the success of our functions and events.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing strategic promotional and marketing concepts
- Meeting financial targets for functions and events
- Building strong relationships with corporate clients, community groups, and local sporting clubs
- Coordinating networking events to showcase our top-notch function spaces
- Collaborating with local businesses and event companies to enhance community engagement
- Managing bookings and maintaining a strong presence on relevant platforms
- Presenting function spaces to prospective clients with flair and professionalism
- Planning and executing major internal and external events
- Budgeting and reporting to ensure financial success
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Functions and Events in a hospitality environment
- Events qualification desirable but not necessary
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture
- Experience in financial aspects of events
- RSA certificate
