This role reports to the Head of Department and is a key figure, responsible for motivating and developing a dedicated team and growing profitability of the restaurant.
Hotel restaurants are a little bit different, so you'll need to bring your passion, experience, and flare for customer experience.
A little of your day to day
- Leading a team that dares to connect with and excel the expectations of both in house and visiting guests
- Plan and manage rosters to ensure you have the right staffing numbers
- Coaching and developing the team
- Managing stock levels
- Collaborating across the wider Crowne Plaza Team
- Assisting guests, making sure you maintain a high level of guest satisfaction
- Role modelling IHGs wining ways
- Identify and implement process improvements designed to increase satisfaction for colleagues and guests
What we need from you
- The ability to work Wednesday to Monday, 3pm - 11pm. If you get hospitality, you'll also understand that this may require some flexibility.
- Diploma level training in food and beverage management or equivalent
- 3 years of related experience, including management experience and utilising point of sale data
- A great communicator, able to navigate / resolve conflict and inspire others
- A head for business and an eye for the little things that make a guest feel special
- The ability to delegate and lead a team
- Product knowledge that others aspire to
- RSA Certificate
- Food handling certificate
