ITRANSITION is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our client's restaurant in Kensington. Our client, Fruits of Passion is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managerial all aspects of the front of house along with any outdoor dining locations.
This include:
Custonier-Experience
During service, overseeing operations and floating between areas of the restaurant to make sure that we are delivering an amazing customer experience
Brainstorming creative new ways we can deliver an even better customer experience
Planning & organizing private event
Staff Management
Staff training/development
Staff hiring and onboarding
Rostering
Building and maintaining positive restaurant culture
Ensuring team members follows all health and safety protocols
Any conflict resolution skills
Kitchen & Owners
Liaising with the kitchen to ensure capabilities are met during busy periods
Providing kitchen with customer feedback for improvements
Cost Management
Effective management of all cost centre and KPIs in line with business requirements e.g. rostering, table optimisation etc. ..
Remuneration
$70,000 + Super p.a for the right candidate
Requirements
We are only looking for 3 things:
Your Expertise- At least 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in hospitality. This leadership experience is a must. In addition, the ability to work at a fast pace and tackle any challenges calmly, quickly and effectively - especially as we head into our busy summer months.
Your Personality- we are looking for someone who is passionate, enthusiastic and has initiative. And most importantly, though we are a busy restaurant, we also really pride ourselves on having a friendly and gentle culture, so having someone who fits in with that is essential.
Your Qualifications- Diploma in management as a minimum.
