We are looking for a Manager for our flagship venue, Maha. Located in the heart of Melbourne, Maha boasts one of the city’s most spectacular dining rooms. This is an opportunity to work alongside our Director, Shane Delia, and his team that does not become available very often. Maha has been welcoming diners through its doors for 15 years and has become established as one of Melbourne’s must visit venues. The role will work closely with Shane Delia, the front of house and kitchen team to achieve our goal of creating memorable experiences by exceeding expectations.
What we are looking for
- Our prospective Manager will need to have 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Have a proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and be self-motivated
- A strong leader who will provide support to the Restaurant Manager and Operations Manager
- Great knowledge of food, produce, wine and beverages
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Available to work nights and weekends
- Be proficient in running a hands-on business including effective rostering, inventory control, cost control and the ability to lead a team
- A strong focus on training and culture
- A proven ability to mentor and share knowledge with junior staff
- Possess an RSA and be proficient in adhering to RSA legislation
- Possess full Australian working rights
