Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant/Venue Manager at Aunty Kim's in Collingwood, VIC. The Restaurant/Venue Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, coordinating and budgeting for events, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
In this role you will be liaising with our functions sales and BOH teams to ensure that events run smoothly and you will be involved in both planning and the running of events. Duties include rostering, maintaining venue environment standards, training, recruitment, liaising with clients and guests, while working to achieve financial targets for the venue as directed by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
• Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in event management
• 3 years proven experience in venue/restaurant management
• Ability to manage budgets
• Experienced in wage cost control
• Experienced in food and beverage cost control
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership and team management skills
