An exciting opportunity has come up to manage and grow Morris Jones, a thriving multi-faceted restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Chapel Street Windsor.
Morris Jones offers a semi-formal 120 seat restaurant together with a vibrant cocktail bar.
We are seeking a Venue Manager to take full responsibility for the running and operation of the venue with a focus on driving business performance and culture, as well as ensuring that the customer experience and service standards are consistently exceeded. The role will involve leading various teams for different product offerings with multiple revenue streams.
Reporting directly to the business owner, the focus of the role will include:
Operation and management of all bar, food and entertainment aspects of venue. Good overall industry knowledge, including cocktails, wine, spirits and events.
Ensuring venue presentation and cleanliness at high standards, with adherence to the Responsible Service of Alcohol and venue management plan.
Maintaining systems and procedures across all aspects of venue operations.
Managing point of sale and booking systems.
Display leadership qualities and experience in leading and running a team under a high-pressure environment.
Driving revenue whilst providing the highest quality customer experience.
Overseeing marketing team developing marketing campaigns, promotions and events.
Overseeing recruitment, training and development of staff and teams.
Financial management of COGS, expenses, stock control and profits.
Licensing and compliance management.
Delivering and ensuring that customer service standards and experience are continually exceeded.
You will have a team of managers and staff who will support the smooth running of the venue, and you will lead all aspects of management and responsibilities within your team.
You will be expected to work some evenings and weekends, but you will be responsible for managing the business to support your weekly rostered hours.
Experience required:
Minimum four year’s experience in Venue Manager role in the management of high volume, service-driven, multi-faceted food and beverage business.
Commercial awareness and business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to develop and maintain management teams.
Have a passion for the hospitality industry and customer service.
Comprehensive knowledge of bar and food operations, Bepoz operating system and the ability to drive revenue. Experience in counting tills and floats.
The ability to develop and maintain business and customer relationships.
