Join our dynamic team at North Queensland Airports Group, overseeing the management and operations of Cairns and Mackay Airports. We are actively searching for a talented Retail Coordinator to become a valuable member of our Operations team.
In this role, you will work closely with the commercial team, contributing to various aspects of commercial coordination, with a specific emphasis on Administration. Your role will be crucial in optimizing revenue returns for Cairns Airport. Responsibilities include coordinating retail marketing, managing promotional activities, and overseeing special events.

About you:
- Diploma or degree qualification in relevant field – highly regarded.
- Starting from 3 years’ experience in retail and or commercial property management.
- High level communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills – able to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A self- starter with proven ability to work as team in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of leasing, agreements, tenders, legislation relating to commercial management.
- High level computer literacy, with proficiency in spreadsheet preparation and analysis.
- Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational, time, task, and priority management.
Eligibility:
Due to the nature of this role, to be eligible for an appointment, you must:
- Have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
- Meet the requirements for obtaining and maintaining an Aviation Security Identification Card. This includes undertaking a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test and a police background check.
