The retail division at dnata catering is a rapidly growing portfolio of businesses that now requires talented managers to deliver profitable sales growth. An exciting opportunity exists for a Retail Development & Operations Manager to join our dedicated team based in Brisbane.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Retail, this role will have influence across all aspects of the business including customer, operations, culinary, finance and administration.
What are your responsibilities?
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand dnata Catering's and Snapfresh market presence.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Prepare and submit compelling proposals in response to RFPs, tenders, and other business opportunities.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key customers, airlines, hospitals, and stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate logistics and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimize efficiency in meal export operations.
- Manage and optimize the retail operations within airline partnerships, ensuring a seamless and customer-centric experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
- Proven experience in operations, business development and sales within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of RFPs, tenders, and proposal processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement profitable key account joint business plans including promotional plans (to agreed spend).
- Demonstrated history of accepting personal accountability for the delivery of results.
