We are excited to introduce the role of Store Development Manager, a new and exciting senior and strategic leadership position that will sit on our AgriSolutions Rural Stores Executive team.

This role will spearhead the implementation of class-leading retail practices to optimise store operations and drive profitability. With a strategic mindset, you will through collaboration, consultation and project management functionality, work with cross-functional teams to enhance store capabilities, employing innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

About the role:

As a key member of the AgriSolutions Rural Stores executive team, the Store Development Manager will shape and execute initiatives that elevate customer experience, streamline processes, and boost overall store performance and sales growth. Drawing upon your extensive leadership experience, you'll mentor teams, foster collaboration, and further grow a culture of excellence. By leveraging your keen insights into retail trends and consumer behaviour, you will position the organisation at the forefront of the industry, ensuring sustained growth and unmatched success in a highly competitive retail landscape.

This role will see you partner with the leadership team to deploy:

Impactful Change Management:

This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our retail processes. With a focus on change management, you'll drive the successful adoption of new strategies, making a direct impact on operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall profitability.

Dynamic Collaboration:

Get ready to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. From working closely with our passionate store managers to partnering with cross-functional teams, you'll partner a collaborative effort to implement improvements, share insights, and address challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Strategic Retail Leadership:

This role isn't just about day-to-day operations; it's about strategic leadership. In reviewing, developing and further deploying standard operating procedures to establishing key performance indicators, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our rural stores contributing to their growth and success.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

To be considered for the position, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a retail management and strategic leadership.
  • Experience in identifying and deploying process improvement across store operations.
  • Proven track record in conducting thorough process assessments, implementing audits, and driving improvements in a retail environment.
  • Experience in SOP development and deployment.
  • Background in developing and implementing training programs that support retail operations.
  • Project and change management expertise drawing on strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in identifying and deploying operational efficiency strategies.
