Country Club Living is seeking either a single Village Manager to work with current administration support or a couple to jointly manage its Village located at Bendigo in Regional Victoria. You will be working in a dynamic, enjoyable setting where every team member feels that they belong. This is an opportunity to change career direction and lifestyle. This is a live onsite position.
This position is located at Bendigo Domain, McIvor Hwy, Junortoun. Bendigo Domain is a Resort Style Village for the over 55’s with facilities including a luxurious Community Centre, lawn bowls, pickleball, croquet, tennis, swimming pool and gym. There are 216 resident villas and the Village Manager’s villa.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Managing a Village with 300+ residents
- Handling Resident enquiries and requests
- Coordinating maintenance works including assisting with villa refurbishments
- Managing maintenance / gardening and administration staff
- Meeting budget requirements
- MYOB Management
- Update & maintain CRM program (Salesforce)
- Liaising/reporting with head office
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Highest level of management integrity and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, communication and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your workload and multi-task
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of residents
- Be energetic, bright and outgoing with a caring and thoughtful manner
- Must be friendly and personable
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and patience
- Experience in managing facilities and/or a community is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products, and accounting / financial software
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organisation

As the role will occasionally involve responding to Emergency Call alerts, a current Level 2 First Aid certificate would also be advantageous but can be obtained once employed.
The appointed Manager/s, with the support of the Country Club Living team, will have the opportunity to set the highest of standards in all aspects of Village lifestyle and contribute to the growth & wellbeing of a community of over 300 Residents.
Bendigo Domain is an independent living community for over 55's and does not provide aged care services.
A police check to Country Club Living’s satisfaction will also be required prior to employment as will full Covid-19 vaccination status.
The position is available from mid-April.
