What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this position is to achieve positive outcomes in the delivery of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network (SCHN) Manual Handling Program and the provision of workplace injury management services across SCHN, with a focus on prevention and early intervention.
- Experience in manual handling and\or injury management or other health related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated high level verbal communication skills, including the capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication and administrative skills, including proven report writing experience and ability to collection, analyse and present data.
- Demonstrated excellent time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities.
- Sound working knowledge of relevant legislation, with demonstrated experience of facilitating change in a busy work environment with competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, evaluate and deliver evidence-based quality improvement programs including education/training.
- Ability to Work both autonomously and as part of a small team.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence
