Job DescriptionWhat you will do:
Reporting to the National Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for administrating the rates and inventory levels for the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage the revenue and distribution strategy for portfolio of properties, including rate and inventory management
- Perform competitive benchmark reviews and market trends
- Have a thorough understanding of NRMA Parks and Resorts weekly reporting including historical and trend reports, special events and seasonal demands
- Provide a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
- Manage and oversee strategy for 3rd party distribution
- Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing group business
- Complete monthly analysis of performance and provide a summary of recommendations to improve long term strategies
- Responsible for best practice standards to include competitor analysis, management of distribution, business mix, length of stay, inventory by channel, pricing control and new pricing concepts
- Managing rates, inventory, promotions, and performance across third party channels
- Prepare outline and support the annual budget process
- Partner and drive initiatives and marketing strategies with internal business partners including Operations Manager, Park Manager and Sales & Marketing teams
- Ability to drive a Revenue Culture in properties and educate teams
What you will bring:
- 2-4 years hands on Revenue Management experience or business analytics experience
- Hotel or Holiday Park environments, across multiple properties desirable, however, not essential.
- Ability to communicate, implement, maintain & measure strategies.
- Strong reporting & analytical skills
- Experience with Revenue Management software (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Third party channels and websites, not essential
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel) skills
- Property Management Systems
- Excellent communication skills
