About the role
The Revenue Services Officer - PPLO and Billing Team will provide support and the effective delivery of the Finance service model, with the responsibilities of receipting, banking and debt collection for private and compensable patients. Responsibilities also cover the cashiering function for all patients and employees.
A regular day will see you:
- Process private patient billing to Medicare, Private Health Funds, and other compensable agents, for Accommodation, Prosthesis and Dr’s costs.
- Use your skills to provide exceptional customer service to patient, staff and third-party billing agents.
- Patient ward contact and administrative duties as directed by Supervisor
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, staff and third party billing agents

Desirable but not essential:
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Scheme(MBS).
