Job description
Western Health Finance is seeking a permanent full time Revenue Services Officer to work within our Revenue billing team. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Revenue Supervisor and Revenue Manager. The successful applicant will have demonstrated ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced demanding environment with proven capacity to show initiative, problem solve and prioritise, as well as demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail. This role would suit somebody who has experience in an accounts receivable/revenue department or the health finance or aged-care industry. You will have advanced communication skills and a customer service oriented approach. The candidate will also possess high level excel skills and written communication.
To be Successful in this Role you
Experience in aged-care, NDIS and HCP billing is essential.
Demonstrated self- motivator, excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a proactive manner. Also, an effective team player with the capacity to be flexible, making a positive contribution to the team.
Excellent interpersonal and sound negotiation skills, with the capacity to successfully relate to a culturally diverse patient cohort.
Demonstrated commitment to patient service.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict of resources and hospital priorities.
Computer literacy and ability to adapt to new software applications as required and assist with the delivery of outcomes for monthly reporting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist, screen and intercept telephone calls and ability to liaise with multiple individuals from the health sector, clinicians, patients and their careers.
Outcome driven with strong ability to formulate strategies to address arising issues.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer literacy - MS Office intermediate skills
Strong experience in data entry and administrative tasks
Medicare Ineligible billing desirable
Private Health Insurance desirable
