About the role
The Risk and Compliance Manager leads and manages the PON risk, audit and Compliance functions to deliver against strategic and operational objectives. This is a highly hands on and autonomous role, providing significant input at a strategic level, including providing advice to the Executive Team and the Board. Your duties may include:
- Manage and improve the PON Risk and Opportunity Management framework
- Uplift and embed risk into processes and procedures
- Provide expert risk management advice and support to major projects and strategic business initiatives
- Act as a trusted business partner across all business units and activities
- Oversee, coordinate and monitor the ongoing compliance with the four pillars of the SOCI Act
- Manage the internal audit function
- Ensure compliance with PON regulatory, legal and policy obligations
- Fulfil the function of the Foreign Investment Review Board Compliance Officer
- Manage the PON insurance program in conjunction with a 3rd party insurance broker
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and sustain cooperative partnerships across the business to achieve success. You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience with both internal and external Risk Management
- Demonstrated experience with strategic and project delivery Risk Management
- Significant experience in Risk and internal audit
- Experience managing compliance.
