Village National supplies accommodation and hospitality/catering across some of Australia's most remote locations to some of the world's most recognised Resources and Energy Companies throughout Australia.
We are looking for a passionate, organised and forwarding planning individual, looking to take over all things related to roster coordination. This role has become available due to a promotion in the company!
About the role… Reporting to GM of Operations your duties will include but not limited to:
- Employee leave management. Reviewing and approving leave requests, updating systems as necessary, ensuring adequate coverage during absences.
- Manage travel bookings as per roster and site requirements (flights, bus, company vehicles).
- Liaise with P&C, HSE teams and management to ensure employee compliance/inductions are valid prior to entry into field and seamless operational activity.
- Travel and Fleet management coordination and maintenance.
- Effective and timely communication to our employees for travel arrangements.
- Prepare workforce reports including shift confirmations and coverage requirements.
- Effectively communicate changes, amendments to roster/schedule/personnel to Site Management/clients.
Experience and Competencies
- Must have 3 years’ experience in high-volume rostering/scheduling.
- Highly developed administration skills and knowledge of MS Office and roster/personnel systems.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and attention to detail + Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated + Strong time management and organisational skills essential.
- Strong technical skills are highly desirable.
