Excitingly, we have just commenced operations into Tasmania and are looking to grow and expand further.
We are now seeking a Rostering Officer to assist our Recruitment Coordinator. This is a newly created permanent role. Experience in rostering is not a pre-requisite as we will train you.
This role will be responsible to:
- Supporting the rostering coordinator in preparation of the roster of 24/7 rosters to support our wonderful participants.
- Responding to rostering requests in a timely and responsive manner.
- Allocate casual staff to vacant shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service in a high volume and demanding professional team environment where there are competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Ensure the scheduling of staff meet the requirements of the SCHADS Award & National Employment Standards.
- Ensure that unassigned shifts are filled in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to participants and maximum cost effectiveness to the organisation.
- Step-up as the rostering coordinator in the extended absence of the coordinator.
- Participate in an after-hours ‘On-Call’ roster.
To be considered for this role, you may be considering this opportunity as a new direction, (we will train you!), or already have experience in a similar role or are currently working in the disability and NDIS Sector and looking for a change and have:
- NDIS Workers Screening Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Right to work in Australia.
- National Police Check (within last 3 years).
- Proficiency in the use of MS office at an intermediate level.
- Understanding of the SCHADS Award – Desirable.

- Bilingual in English and Hindi would be an advantage but not a requirement.
Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Whilst this role is offered as a full time role, part-time (0.8) would be considered for the right candidate.
