This challenging and dynamic role, based in Brisbane with regular travel across Queensland, is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the healthcare sector. As a pivotal member of the nursing executive team, the Clinical Nurse will support the Care Manager's responsibilities and aspire to transition into a Care Manager role.
In this position, you will be at the forefront, guiding a committed care team to deliver the highest quality of resident care. Simultaneously, your role involves the comprehensive oversight of daily facility operations, encompassing tasks such as budget management, staff supervision and the diligent adherence to regulatory standards. Essential to your success is the adept navigation of effective communication and collaboration with residents, families, and external stakeholders. Your leadership extends to the implementation of risk management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents remains paramount.
Who Are We Seeking?
The successful candidate will bring leadership, organisational, and clinical skills to ensure compliance with Aged Care standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare services.
- Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Maintain current AHPRA registration with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
- Adept at handling conflicts, managing pressures, and navigating competing priorities with confidence.
- Proven capability in offering leadership, support, and mentorship to fellow team members.
- Possess a current Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
