McMahon Services is a successful construction, industrial and environmental services businesss. Our Building & Construction team delivers maintenance, brownfield projects, fit-outs and new build commercial construction projects ranging from $100k – $50m. Our maintenance teams deliver sustaining capital projects across various disciplines such as, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, civil, concrete, demolition, asbestos, roofing and cladding. Our customers include Nyrstar, GFG, Simec, BHP, regional councils, Ventia and Defence.

As a result of our strategic growth, we are inviting a talented individual to join the McMahon Services Building & Construction team as SA Regional Manager. What We Offer:

About The Role:

Our regional operations in South Australia are long embedded as part of our business, established for over 35 years. We have offices in Port Pirie, Whyalla, Port Lincoln, Roxby Downs and Adelaide head office. We are seeking a Regional Manager to join our Building and Construction team to oversee the regional operations and develop a strategy for further growth of our Port Pirie, Whyalla and Port Lincoln offices. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the regional operations, including regional strategy, business structure, safety, tenders, contracts and operational success. The role manages people, stakeholders and processes to safely deliver both maintenance works and projects using our company values of Reputation, Integrity, Safety and Excellence. Responsibilities:

Development and delivery of the strategic plan for each regional operation Oversee P&L responsibility for the Regions’ operations, including preparation and working within budget. Monitor and forecast oversight of projects delivered in the region, including approval of all customer quotes and proposals for the region’s operations. Lead and inspire direct reports to deliver customer-centric results and uphold company values Provide effective leadership, setting clear goals and expectations, and supporting team development and career growth Foster a “One McMahon” team culture, prioritising customer and enterprise needs in decision-making. Foster collaboration between regional operations and our Customer Streams. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various levels and functions to meet business requirements and demonstrated customer relationship success Contribute to business benefits through process improvements, cost/benefit analysis, and engagement with customers and suppliers Collaborate with the commercial team and act as an active member of the Safety community to uphold quality standards and enhance Safety’s reputation Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions for the projects in alignment with Company policies and procedures. Establish operating rhythms to achieve objectives, address workplace changes, and resolve conflicts proactively Report monthly on business operations. About You:

To be successful in the role, you will need: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building regulations. Previous accountability for a large P&L. Strong people management skills, including ability to lead by example, build a high performing team and ability to performance manage staff as required. Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work schedules. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent computer literacy, including Office Suite and Pronto (preferred) Good understanding of Safety principles, CoR, and their implications on operational requirements within Australia Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with competing priorities Ability to work from multiple regional office locations, supporting the local branches. Construction White Card, current Driver’s license. Must be an Australian citizen or able to obtain DCSI and Australian Defence security clearance.
