This highly regarded organisation is a leading global manufacturer with innovative products and a customer centric focus. A trusted Australian brand since 1939 they have grown to be a household name and are looking for a Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join their head office in Rydalmere and drive the implementation of the Safety and Wellbeing Framework and strategic plan.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations Manager and working closely with the Safety and Wellbeing Manager you will be setting the internal standards for Safety and employee wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and guidance to leaders to increase safety awareness.
Day to day you will also:
- Drive continuous improvement through hazard identification, incident prevention, and intervention.
- Embed their safety & wellbeing vision, standards, culture and compliance across the site.
- Build organisational capability and resilience of site leaders, safety representatives and committees through coaching and training
- Conduct audits, risk assessments and other compliance activities.
To be considered for this role
- Experience working with WHS Legislation, ISO Standards and Return to Work
- Certificate IV in Work, Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Current Drivers License and the ability to travel to multi-sites
- Ability to build strong working relationships across a diverse portfolio of stakeholders.
- Ideally, a knowledge of and experience in the manufacturing industry.
